Privacy Policy
Effective 11 August 2026
The short version. The personal information this site collects is what you type: into the booking form when you request a consult, and into the chat assistant if you use it. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, and no cookie set by ScrollFolio. Your details are used to talk to you about your project and nothing else, and you can have them deleted by asking.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to scrollfolio.com and to the consult booking process run through it. In this policy, "ScrollFolio", "we", and "us" mean Business Bob, Inc., operating as ScrollFolio, of Castle Rock, Colorado.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
When you book a consult, the scheduling form asks for:
- Your first and last name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your organization
- Your current website address, if you have one
- Anything you choose to write in the message field
- Your selected appointment time and time zone
- Whether you consented to receive text messages
If you contact us directly by email or phone instead, we hold whatever you send us in that message.
The chat assistant
This site has an AI chat assistant. If you use it, what you type is sent to our server and on to Anthropic, which operates the AI model that writes the replies. Please do not type anything into the chat you would not want handled that way, including passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information.
ScrollFolio does not store chat transcripts. The conversation lives in your browser for the length of your visit and is gone when you close or reload the page. Anthropic processes the messages in order to generate a reply and handles them under its own terms and privacy policy. Our hosting provider may record an error log entry, without message content, if a request fails.
The assistant is an AI. It can be wrong, and nothing it says is a binding quote, commitment, or professional advice.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server and security logs, which typically include IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We do not use these to build a profile of you.
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Doing so sends your IP address to Google as part of the request for the font files. If that matters to you, a browser extension that blocks third-party font loading will prevent it, and the site will still work.
What we do not collect
We do not run analytics software, advertising pixels, session recording, or heat mapping. ScrollFolio does not set cookies on this site, and the chat assistant does not store anything on your device. The booking widget on the Book page is provided by a third party and may set its own cookies inside that embedded frame, which is described below.
3. Why we use it
- To schedule, confirm, and hold your consult
- To reply to you and discuss your project
- To prepare a proposal if you ask for one
- To keep records of our business dealings, including any work we do for you
- To meet legal and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Text messages
The booking form includes separate consent checkboxes for transactional messages about your scheduled consult and for marketing messages. These are optional and separate, and you can book a consult without agreeing to marketing. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.
5. Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), which runs the booking calendar, the intake form, and the customer record where your details are stored.
- Vercel, which hosts this website and generates the server logs described above.
- Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces, as described above.
- Anthropic, which operates the AI model behind the chat assistant and receives the messages you type into it.
- Google Workspace, if we correspond with you by email.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or in connection with the sale or transfer of the business. Each provider has its own privacy terms, and we encourage you to read them.
6. How long we keep it
We keep consult enquiries for two years from your last contact with us, and records relating to paid work for two years after the engagement ends, in order to meet tax and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, as described below.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, where we are not required to keep it
- Provide a copy in a portable format
- Stop sending you marketing
Colorado residents have these rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, including the right to appeal a refused request. Residents of other states and countries may have similar rights under their own laws. To make a request, email Support@BusinessBob.co. We will respond within the time your law allows, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
8. Children
This is a business to business service and it is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to your information to those who need it to do the work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top will change with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
